It’s no secret that when LJB and Powers Brown Architecture (PBA) work together amazing things can happen. Having already designed the tallest tilt-up building in Texas, the team has now designed the world’s largest tilt-up building, according to the Tilt-Up Concrete Association. PBA served as the project architect and LJB was the structural engineer.
The new tilt-up building, which will measure more than 4 million square feet, is being built near Houston for Daikin Industries, Ltd., the leading global manufacturer in heating, cooling and refrigerant products. The building will be operational in mid-2016.
The project was recently highlighted in both the print and online editions of Tilt-Up Today magazine.
