LJB_PMS186_LOGO_100%_300dpiAs LJB positions itself for growth, the firm has made changes to both its external board of directors and its internal leadership.

LJB’s external board of directors now includes former LJB CEO, Mark Thompson, as well as David Gutridge and Joan Swenson.

David Gutridge is a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of varied business experience, including ownership and management of several organizations and board membership for a number of companies. He is currently the majority owner, chairman and CEO of a specialty manufacturing company.

Joan Swenson is a senior executive that focuses on integrated human resources that drive strategy, improved operations and enhanced employee engagement. She is president of AgilityPoint Consulting Group, a human resource and strategic/operational planning consulting business.

LJB’s shareholders also selected Kevin Miller to fill an internal seat on the organization’s board of directors.  Kevin is a principal in LJB’s Infrastructure division and has served the company since 1998.  He has dedicated much of his career to providing innovative solutions to traffic operations throughout Ohio. Kevin earned an MBA degree from Colorado State University in 2010 and was named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2012.

In addition to these changes to the board of directors, LJB has also named three employees as new associates of the firm. Matt Bell, Jeremy Falcone and Matt Gardner were made associates in July 2013.

LJB also added two new members to its internal corporate management team this month.  Tom Laubie represents quality management, and Kim Messer is now serving in the role of corporate marketing manager.
